About Anointing of the Sick
When Catholics are sick enough to be in danger of death—though not necessarily dying—from illness, accidents or old age, they should receive anointing of the sick to give them grace and strength in their sufferings. Please call us in plenty of time if you or a family member needs to receive this sacrament. For greatest benefit, anointing of the sick should be given to persons who are conscious and who can also receive communion at the same time. Call the parish office (562 439 0931).
Unción de los Enfermos
Cuando un Católico está gravemente enfremo, debería participar del sacramento de la unción de enfermos para recibir gracia y fortaleza en sus sufrimientos. Por favor, no espere hasta el último minuto para llamar al sacerdote. Lo ideal es que la persona enferma todavía esté consciente y pued, si es posible,recibir también la comunión.
